- Find Peer connection protocol
- Change from TCP and uTP to TCP

Set up your access
The app licence and your Usenet provider are separate. Activate your software licence, then add your provider’s connection details in the app’s Settings.

Browse the catalogue here and copy its usn:// share link. The desktop app imports the index so you can select the files you want.
An app identity is needed only where private-share access requires it.
From share link to download
- Copy the share link
Choose Copy Link on a catalogue card. If a build has several links, import each one you need.
- Import the index
Open Download in UsenetShare, paste into Share Link and choose Import.
- Select your files
Choose the content and destination in the app, then start the download through your provider.

Software licence and content access
A software licence activates UsenetShare. Your portal purchases and any private-share authorisation determine content access. A Usenet provider subscription is separate from both.

- Open the Dashboard in UsenetShare.
- In Your Identity, choose Copy Identity Token.
- Paste the token below to associate that app identity with this portal account.
